A few words about price:   Do not make the mistake of letting price determine who to hire for your home inspection. The cost of a quality home inspection is small compared to the price of a home, and is good insurance against hidden defects. Remember, this is your only chance to get a comprehensive professional evaluation of the condition of the home before you buy.

In every profession there are people willing to work cheap, but quality is what counts. A "bargain" home inspection is no value if serious defects go undetected, leaving you with thousands of dollars in repair costs. And a cut rate home inspector may soon be out of business, leaving you with no recourse if you later discover defects that were overlooked.
